In the past year and a half, the Tailor Project has connected with around 100 families that came to Canada between 1948 and 1949 through the Garment Workers Scheme. In order to reach out to these families we had articles posted in the CJN, Toronto Star and CBC. On May 1st of 2019, we were thrilled to have more publicity on this important work when we hosted our event at Holy Blossom temple in Toronto where these families came together for the first time.
